We owe our success to the cooperation with the largest European door sales networks. We specialize in the production of steel doors in standard developer sizes, but approximately 25% of our production covers orders with bespoke projects.
Every instance of manufacturing custom-made industrial glazing or loft partitions begins with specialized hot-rolled profiles that are cut to size in order to create the components for the project. From there, the steel is machined using CNC equipment or other specialized press tools, with more complex units going through a manual machining process. Arches and glazing with smooth curves are rolled by hand until they conform to the design guidelines. The profiles are then welded together to form a coherent whole from raw steel, and then all steel components are hot-dip galvanized to protect them against corrosion.
QUALITY CONTROL OF STEEL GLAZING
After powder coating, steel frames are put back together and assembled with all the additional elements and gaskets required to finish the glazing. Then, functional and adjustment tests are being carried out, and our windows are ready to be carefully packed and delivered to their destination. As we are truly an international company, our products are shipped throughout Poland and all European countries, with some being sent to the farthest corners of the world. We understand the importance of the timeliness of projects, so this part of our production process is extremely important. All Portamet windows and doors are made of the highest quality steel and hardware.
Finished designs are painted using the best Portamet Coat powder coatings with a thickness of at least 60 microns. The coating is applied using an advanced electrostatic process by hand spraying in order to obtain a uniform coating which is cured at high temperature for maximum adhesion. Strict quality control inspections in accordance with our certification ensure that the quality is maintained throughout the entire loft steel door production process in Gdańsk
